Most stainless steel tableware is designed to disappear into the background — clean, functional, unremarkable. Our newest collection, Aurelia, takes the opposite approach. Each piece is designed to be noticed first as an object, and to work just as hard as a serving piece second.

Aurelia stainless steel collection — new sculptural tableware by Winko International

Aurelia is a stainless steel tableware collection built around sculptural form: rounded, fluid silhouettes, a mirror finish that catches and moves light across curved surfaces, and shapes that read as considered design objects even before anything is placed on them. Every piece is still fully functional — built to hold food, fruit, or tabletop essentials — but the design language comes first. Today, we're introducing a few of the standout pieces individually, ahead of showing how they combine as coordinated sets next week.

Designed for Coexistence

Aurelia takes its cue from Ambiente Trends 27+ and its defining idea for 2027 interiors and tabletop design: Coexistence — a celebration of contrast, where different materials and influences enrich one another rather than needing to match. It's a shift away from tableware that has to be part of one uniform aesthetic, toward pieces designed to sit naturally alongside hand-thrown ceramics, natural linen, dark timber, textured glass, or crisp white porcelain.

That philosophy shows up in Aurelia through defined, architectural silhouettes; a reflective finish that responds to whatever light and materials surround it; and sculptural serving pieces that work equally well as functional objects and as decorative focal points. Stainless steel becomes the connecting element across a table — the material that brings clarity to darker settings, brightness next to natural materials, and a premium finish to almost any occasion.

Piece Highlights

The Round Plate. A large, clean-lined round serving plate with a softly folded silhouette running across its mirror-polished surface — a subtle wave rather than a flat, static disc. It's substantial enough to anchor a table on its own, serving as a centerpiece plate for fruit, bread, or a shared course, while the mirror finish keeps the overall look light rather than heavy.

The Curved-Corner Tray. A rectangular serving tray with softly curved corners that catch light differently depending on the angle it's viewed from. Practical and generously sized, it's built for everyday serving use — canapés, sliced fruit, a full course — while the curved geometry gives it a quiet sculptural presence that a flat tray doesn't have.

The Curved Fan Plate. A dramatically curved, fan-like serving plate that moves furthest from traditional tableware silhouettes in this collection. It's just as functional as the rest of the range — ideal for fruit, appetizers, or a striking presentation piece at the center of a table — while doubling as a display object in its own right when it isn't in active use.

Companion Accessories. Smaller pieces — including coasters and petite tea spoons — extend the same design language into the details a guest picks up directly. These pieces are where Aurelia's sculptural finish meets its most tactile, hands-on use.

Why Mirror Finish Matters Here

The mirror finish isn't just a surface treatment choice — it's central to how these forms actually read. A matte or brushed finish would flatten the sculptural detail in each piece; the mirror surface, by contrast, amplifies it, since every curve and fold catches and reflects light differently as a viewer's angle changes. The finish makes each piece feel dynamic rather than static, even sitting still and empty on a table — and just as effective once it's holding food or fruit and put to actual use.

Where Aurelia Fits

Aurelia is designed to move across a wider range of settings than a typical tableware line — modern urban dining and apartment living, premium home entertaining, wedding and anniversary gifting, hotel and restaurant presentation, corporate gift programmes, department-store and specialty-homeware assortments, and curated, design-led retail. The same underlying design language — sculptural form, reflective finish, functional versatility — is what lets it move between these contexts without feeling out of place in any of them.

A round plate or curved fan piece can hold its own as a single statement item on a table. The curved-corner tray works well for everyday, higher-frequency serving needs. The coasters and tea spoons round out the range for buyers looking to build a fuller table setting rather than source individual statement pieces.

Individual pieces can be sourced on their own for buyers who want a single striking item, or combined into small groupings — we'll be showing how these pieces work together as coordinated sets next week.

Built for Private-Label and Custom Development

Beyond the collection as shown, Aurelia is designed as a platform for customization: polished, satin, brushed, hammered, or mixed surface finishes; custom shapes and proportions; engraved, embossed, or laser-marked branding; and coordinated gift-box concepts for buyers building a private-label range. If you're developing a signature tabletop collection rather than sourcing an off-the-shelf line, this is a starting point built with that flexibility in mind.
